先是從網上找，歌詞不難找，但一看歌詞，不大對頭，懷疑是不是貼歌詞上網的人出了很多錯。於是索性找自己家裡的徐小鳳ＣＤ以及有關的歌書。才發覺，原來那網上的歌詞並沒有出錯，本來就是這樣的。
這《深秋立樓頭》的歌詞看不明白是絕不奇怪的，像如下的句子：
不計雨雪到我肯後凝。
方看透切，慨嘆怨恨由。
風聲不休，影響知秋空對奏。
何要處處霧雨侵我獨透。
簡直是像密碼。我覺得，這首歌詞，頂多算是湯正川的一次不成熟的習作，比方說像是想在牆上畫個圓圈卻畫了個歪歪斜斜的四邊形，不過，不成熟的習作而得以公開發表，於詞人是幸，於公眾則是不幸吧！或者只能說，有些歌詞不是用來明白的，感受一下「深秋立樓頭」、「茫茫風中蒼漠裡」、「路望盡」的境界，加上音樂的渲染，就很夠了。
因為找《深秋立樓頭》而偶然發現了另一首《白牆》，歌書上竟標示是黎彼得寫詞的，有此等事？慌忙找別的文本求證。在《曾路得白牆＋精選》的盒帶裡，竟然真是印着「黎彼得詞」的字樣的。不過，其後在華納十周年時推出的《杜麗莎／曾路得》盒帶裡，《白牆》的填詞人名字又變為盧國沾。
純情之中有衝勁，活像有片白牆，我畫交叉，我畫圓形，不需要誰欣賞。
回頭側身看一看，熱淚掛滿在臉上，再望清楚牆上彎直線，先知我迷方向。
誰料我過去會這樣，好辛苦走一趟，走千彎轉小徑，只因相信我思想。
其實我以往抹過汗，用盡力為畫牆，寫不出心中意，還留待明辨真相。
這《白牆》的詞風，在當年很多人一看而知應是盧國沾寫的，但到底為甚麼唱片公司會搞錯，變成「黎彼得詞」，真難以理解！昨晚為此還特別給電話盧前輩，他說詞的確是他填的，但唱片公司為何搞錯了，變成黎彼得寫詞，他亦不知道原因。
這只能說明，有時唱片公司處理唱片文案甚是馬虎，不僅是舊歌老歌的作者常常生安白造，連新歌都會這樣出錯，怎能讓人信得過！事實上，弄亂了潘偉源和潘源良還可說是馮京作馬凉，但黎彼得和盧國沾是如此不同的名字，都會弄亂，真是天下一大奇事！
