In ACT II, Grandpa tries to cheer up Robbie.

- Oh, look after that float. Look at those funny-looking clowns.
- It's for kids.

Philip is excited. He wants to watch the football game.

- What time does the Michigan football game come on?

And the telephone rings. Is it Alexandra?

ACT II

- I love parades. Thanksgiving day parade is always such great fun. Look at that, that Superman balloning(wrong, it should be: bolloon. Well. Yes, from the long high above central park wise.(wrong, it should be: Just floating along high above Central Park West. Don't you just love it? Oh, the bands and music. John and Philip  says I love these music.(wrong, it should be: John Philip Sousa. I love his music. Da da da da....... Look at that fool(wrong, it should be: float. Robbie. Look at the funny looking towns.(wrong, it should be: Look at those funny-looking clowns.
- It's for kids.
- Maybe so. But parades always make me feel like the kids(wrong, it should be: a kid. Remember when you and your Dad and I went to the Thanksgiving Day parade, you were 4 or 5 years old I think?

- Hello? Hello? Oh, hi, Susan, how are you? Here's Mom.
- Hello, Susan. Yes, he missed a phone call from Alexandra. Yes, I know, but here get a hurt.(wrong, it should be: Yes, I know, but he'll get over it. 原因:没有听过get over it这个组合。 Good, you'll be here by 5? (wrong, it should be: Good, then you'll be here about five? Oh, fine. I look forward to see you(wrong, it should be: I look forward to seeing you 原因:look forward to doing,而不是look forward to do), and Henry and Michelle. That carefully.(wrong, it should be: drive carefully 原因:根本没想到会是drive开头)Goodbye.

- Cheese Ellen's turkey
resing is delicious.(wrong, it should be: Taste Ellen's turkey dressing. It's delicious.
- I'm not surprise.  With Grandma resial be.(wrong, it should be: It's Grandma's recipe.
- It's my favorite part of meal.
- What about my famous apple pie?
- Dad, your apple pie is my favorite dessert.
- Just surpriyd. (wrong, it should be: How's the parade?
- OK.
- Mom, is it for me?
- No, xxx.(wrong, it should be: No, Robbie.
- No, was it? (wrong, it should be: Who was it? 。。)
- Wrong number. Philip, would you join me (in) the kitchen please? It's getting late xxx  vegetable to prepare. (wrong, it should be: It's getting late. We have vegetables to prepare.
- Can I help do anything? (wrong, it should be: Can I help with anything?
- No, honey, you just like Grandpa.(wrong, it should be: you just relax with Grandpa. I'll get your help server later.(wrong, it should be: I'll get you to help serve later. 原因:对get you to do something这个组合不熟悉)
- Ellen reminds me so much of Grandma.
- What time does Mechigen(wrong, it should be: Michigan 原因:单词拼写错误) football game come on?
- 4.
- Philip! Philip!
- I'll be back to see the game.

- Grandpa, when did Dad graduate from Michigan?
- Let me think. He graduated from Medical school in 1960 and from university of
Michigan in 1956.
- Did you go to the Michigan too, Grandpa?
- Yeap. I graduated in 1937.
- I'll get to start thinking of college soon. (wrong, it should be: I've got to start thinking about college soon.

关于waht about... 与 how about What about … 和 how about … 1. How about going out for a walk? 2. What about another cake? 1、 What about the playing the violin? 2、 What about the TV play? 1、 What about the weather in your home town? 2、 How about your uncle now? You can’t leave him by himself.
