项目协调员和项目联络员都是弱矩阵的组织中对项目经理的角色的称呼。项目协调员在有一定的决策权,他可以接触项目成员的上级经理。项目联络员仅起沟通、联络作用,没有决策权。

两者都是弱矩阵型组织中,项目经理的角色,但是,在权利和义务上,有所区别。

Project Expediter
The Project Expediter monitors and reports on the status of the project to senior management. This role has no authority. + `% m7 M. K" f; r
The Project Expediter acts as a communication coordinator only and cannot enforce any decisions. * y3 B$ i+ A6 `; `

Project Coordinator6 s: b- Q) R! d3 T* ~& ?4 H
The Project Coordinator role is similar to expediter, but has some limited, referential authority. The project coordinator may report to someone higher on the management food chain than the expediter. The Project Coordinator has some authority to make decisions. & O9 C5 K' d7 P+ H
In IT, this person may be what recruiters refer to as "a PM who can roll-up his sleeves and debug code" or "PM/Business Analyst who can create project documentation and supervise others." These are actually team member roles and not true project manager roles. However, in addition to his/her hands-on, team-member, tasks, this person also has some limited supervisory responsibilities as well project monitoring and status reporting responsibility.
