   The test results can be seen: ① Cone crusher liner will withstand the tremendous impact load in the broken ore to produce a good work-hardening effect. The liner surface hardness HB is up to 500 or more, the hardening depth under 2 mm. Therefore, it requires  the liner is good in toughness and sufficient in strength to resist the enormous impact load and fragmentation; ② Different parts of the same liner surface hardening value is not the same, which indicates that the lining in different parts suffer uneven force  and the sizes of ore are also different. The upper part (head) of moving lining will bear the biggest impact of lump ores, thus hardening value is the highest; The impact force on lower part of the (big) moving lining is relatively weak, so the surface hardening value is low.
