I quickly promised.

He has always lived in the house.

It’s very kind of you.

I don’t drink water, I drink beer instead.

Lisa stood silently in front of the TV.

Each day they take train to go to the city.

One dayhe went to the theater.

They are going to do this right away.

We started form Beijing two weeks ago.

The light is on day and night.

She looks like an actress.

They hide behind the bushes.

They have been working from morning to night.

I’m satisfied with my work.

The man stopped to talk to me.

I stayed there to see what would happen.

I went to post-office to mail a letter.

They donate the money to help hungry people.

She was eager to see her friends.

Being sickI stayed at home.

Hearing the good newsI was crazy with job.

Being very oldhe had to tive up his teaching.

Seeing it was raininghe put on his rain coat.

Standing on the top of the hillyou will have a nice view of the city.

Although being a childhe knowns a lot.

=Although he is a childhe knowns a lot.

After talking with himI returned to my office.

=After I talked with himI returned to my office.

While working hereI learned a lot,

=While I was working hereI learned a lot.

I often do some reading before going to bed.

=I often do some reading before I go to bed.

Given enough timehe would finish the work

United,we standdividedwe fall.

Compared with most kidshe was indeed fortunate.

Guided by the mapwe toured the city.

2)、划线部分解释成状语或前补语都可以,它们与主句关系松散;

Informed by our teacherhe came here soon.

Born in Shanghaihe is native shanghai person.

Astonished by the facthe was very angry.

Established in 1949this hospital has been a very good hospital.

(1)when, while, as, whenever

①、when

When I got home, my families were already having dinner.

When they were still talking and laughing, the teacher came in.

He waved a hello when he saw her.

When you think you know nothing, you begin to know something.

a、当when意思是正当时候” (and at that moment),when通常跟在前一分句之后。
He was about to go to bed when the doorbell rang.
They had just arrived home when it began to rain.

They were watching the World Cup when suddenly the lights went out.

I was reading in the room, when a girl shouted for help.

When I had given Mary the spare ticket, I found my own already gone.

When I finally got there, the meeting had been on for ten minutes.

He walks when he might take a taxi.

How can you hope for mercy yourself when you show none?

How can they learn anything when they spend all their spare time watching television?

②、While

She fell asleep while she was reading the newspaper.

Don’t talk while you’re eating.

We listened while the teacher read.

I am fond of English while he likes maths.
We slept while the captain kept watch.

She thought I was talking about her daughter, while in fact, I was talking about my daughter.

I am poor while you are rich.
Tom is strong, while John is weak.

Strike while it is hot.
You should go to ask the teacher while he is still in.

③、as

The thief was caught as/when he was stealing in the supermarket.

I saw Jim as/when he left the meeting room.
As they walked down the sidewalk
they saw a box.

As she left the room she remembered that book.

They talked as they walked.
He looked behind from time to time as he went.

We listened to the singer sing as he played the guitar.(

I thought of it just as you opened your mouth.

Cas

As modern industry develops, more and more waste produces.

As time goes on, it's getting warmer and warmer.

As he grew older, he became less and less active.

As everybody can see, the earth is round.
He failed as we had expected.

As we had expected, Chinese Football Team beat Indian.

when, while, as的用法区别
I got the news on the radio when/while/as I was having breakfast.

When/While/As I was walking in the street,I met a friend of mine.

As he finished his speech, the audience burst into applause.

whenever(conj.

Whenever we met with difficulties, they came to help us.

(2)before, after

You must first learn to walk before you try to run.

   Abefore

It is/was/will be...before...

(3)till, until

We shall wait until/till he comes back.

Everything went well until/till that accident happened.

It is not until that 表示"一…

Until you told me, I had heard nothing of what happened.
