277 - Plechaty takes the lead...
The first 6 quads have now passed km 181 of the day’s special stage, and pending the clock of Hubert Deltrieu (Polaris), who was in the lead at all previous markers, it is Czech Republic’s Martin Plechaty (BMW) who checks in the lead, 59" ahead of the older of the Patronelli brothers, i.e. Alejandro (Yamaha)... However, the Iritrack of the 2009 winner, Josef Machacek (Yamaha), is not giving the rider’s position for the time being and the Cezch rider is therefore not yet in the ranking.

304 - Multiple somersaults for Roma!
After starting the race with the ambition of being as succesful as yesterday, the leader in the general standings Nani Roma (BMW) made a mistake just 2 km after the start of the day’s special stage! The driver somersaulted and ended up in a gulch. Fortunately no one was injured in the car but the team lost almost 15 minutes to getting the car back on the trail and starting again.
