全世界最为广传得一首诗

圣经中的诗篇23篇是世界上所有文库中最为广传得经典。该诗已翻译成960种语言，全世界的20亿基督徒几乎没人不会背这首诗； 15亿穆斯林教徒至少读过，  1300万犹太教徒，六岁起就要开始背，  以英语为官方语言的印度人，也学这首诗。  有关这首诗的戏剧不下20种，讲稿真的是数不清。 每年至少有上千篇新的讲稿  （也有炒剩饭的）出来。  这首诗，是大卫王（3000年前）在人生的 “死阴幽谷”中走向辉煌的起点。 

 

耶和华是我的牧者．

我必不至缺乏。

他使我躺卧在青草地上、

领我在可安歇的水边。

他使我的灵魂苏醒、

为自己的名引导我走义路。

  

我虽然行过死荫的幽谷、

也不怕遭害．

因为你与我同在．

你的杖、你的竿、都安慰我。

 

 在我敌人面前、

你为我摆设筵席．

你用油膏了我的头、

使我的福杯满溢。

 我一生一世必有恩惠慈爱随着我．

我且要住在耶和华的殿中、直到永远。

 

The LORD is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil:

for thou art with me;

thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

 

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.

 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
