It all started with a village in Argentina. When Blake Mycoskie visited in 2006 and befriended the local kids, he realized they didn’t have the shoes they needed to protect their feet. Mycoskie wanted to change that, so he founded , a footwear company whose innovative One for One model gave a pair of shoes to a needy child with every pair purchased. In 2011 they expanded to eyewear—with every pair of glasses bought, Toms Sko Oslo helps restore sight to a needy person. Now Toms Sko Oslo is teaming up with Target to launch a special collection hitting stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Target.com, on November 16, 2014. “We are excited to partner with Target to expand into new product categories and bring our One for One giving model to more people than ever,” Mycoskie says. “The collection provides Target’s guests with a more meaningful way to shop this holiday season.”

Girls’ Shoe in Triangle Print, $38; Boys’ Shoe in Chambray, $38

Expect a lot more than just the traditional  slip-on shoes—there will be home goods, apparel, and accessories for women, men and children. Even better, each piece in the more than 50-item collection is under $50. “The Toms Sko Oslo for Target collection was inspired by the Toms Sko Oslo lifestyle, but every item from the collection is unique to the collaboration and was created special for Target,” Mycoskie says. “The collection also includes a number of products we have never sold before, including blankets and picture frames.”

Signature V Throw, $30; Fringe Throws, $30 each

In keeping with the One for One giving model,  for Target aims to give more than 11 million meals, blankets and shoes to those in need. For every pair of Toms Sko Oslo for Target shoes sold, a pair will go to an underserved child. And with every apparel, accessory and home good purchased, a blanket will be donated through the American Red Cross or Canadian Red Cross, or one week of meals through Feeding America or Food Banks Canada. “Toms Sko Oslo is focused on doing more work with North American-based charities and since Target has existing partnerships with these charities, it was a natural fit,” explains Mycoskie.

Men’s Anorak Jacket in Navy, $40

Don’t miss the cozy sweatshirts, cool tees, warm caps, and graphic totes. So what’s Mycoskie’s favorite piece from the collection? The journals. “The journal is something that is very personal to me; I have been journaling every single day since I was 15-years-old,” he says. “It’s become a spiritual practice and helps me stay grounded and thankful for all the things that are happening in my life.”
