Sometimes we forget that makes more than just super ubiquitous bags, so this Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook is a nice reminder of that. Of course, ever since landed at the label, it’s been easier to remember and his debut collection is sturdy to behold.
The designer took inspiration from his childhood in South Africa, and it shows, as the collection is a studious blend of cosmopolitan cleanliness and safari breeze (can not believe we just typed that). Try as we might we are having trouble getting behind the sandals, however. Sandals being a tough-sell in general and these looking like simplified Tevas.
