Gucci Tennis '84

 

Looks like Gucci will take a page from the past and reach into the vault.  Of course Gucci would never use the word "Retro" with one of their products, but maybe vintage can be used to describe the Gucci Tennis '84.  Casual shoe buyers would not remember, but sneakerheads definitely the Jay Z x Reebok collaboration with the "Shawn Carter" that release earlier this decade, which almost identically mimicked the Gucci Tennis '84 and was a big hit.

 

The highlights of the Gucci Tennis '84 are a full white leather upper with tumbled leather on the toe and heel.  Smooth white leather is found on the toebox and side panels, and the traditional Gucci stripes are found on the heel.  Can't expect for things to be any different in pricing especially since Gucci's new policy is not to reduce the price of any of their products anymore since consumers try to wait for items to go on sale, so you can expect the price of $375 to stand firm as long as its on shelves.
