It’s not just LG and Samsung releasing new 3D devices in Berlin this year. Sharp introduces at this year’s IFA the new Sharp LE925 3DTV, which is the first line of 3DTVs released by the company.
The new Sharp AQUOS LE925 3DTV features a very slim and stylish design and is packed with great options like Time-Shift recording, DLNA and Quattron panels. As this is the first 3D model from the company, Sharp has put a good amount of thought into it, wanting to meet the requirements in today’s 3D market. You will encounter many of the technologies used in previous Sharp models, with the added 3D capabilities for the LE925 model.
Sharp’s LE925 model features the famous Quattron technology, using a forth yellow sub-pixel ensuring a wider range of color and depth to their LCD panel. The 3D content on the LE925 will require 3D active glasses which will come included with the device. Another great feature for many of the newest 3DTVs on the market is the 2D to 3D conversion, which the LE925 is also bringing to the table along with its Edge LED backlighting, 4 HDMI, 200/240Hz and 2x10W speakers and a 15W subwoofer.
Other great options of the LE925 include the time-shifting feature which allows users to pause LIVE broadcast for later viewing along with built-in flash memory.
Sharp LE925 3DTV
LE925 brings access to online content and remote video playback through its AQUOS NET+ system, along with support for the DLNA system which allows streaming of music, pictures and video between devices in your home.
The LE925 range of 3DTVs will include models 46LE925, 52LE925, 60LE925, and 68LE925 with sizes 46,52, 60 and 68-inches. The devices will become available in September while the price tags are unknown just yet.
