ODB++ output

Hi,

Has anyone encountered the problem while generating the valor output. I am getting the following error when i try to Begin translation

eif_cadence-583003-Error translating input record.

Also after choosing ODB++ from the PCB Editor it prompts me to extract net impedance average. Is it required? wht is the effect on the manufacturing data.

Hello

Check your artwork settings (Manufacture - Artwork) and make sure you can generate artworks the old fashioned way. Normal settings are RS274X. Once these are all set you should be able to generate your ODB++ file. In regard to net impedance average will export the net impedance average. Valor has the ability to check some of this stuff. If you don't use it then don't set it.
