CHAP secret given does not conform to the standard

在使用xp 下iscsi initiator连接iscsi target时提示：

CHAP secret given does not conform to the standard

原因：

This indicates that the CHAP secret you specified is smaller than the minimum size (12 bytes) required by the spec.

Please make your secret more than or equal to 12 characters and less than or equal to 16 characters.


显然密码长度不能小于12位，不能大于16位，开始我设置的用户名和密码都是jav ，不符合密码规则，故有此报错！在iscsi target的/etc/iet/ietd.conf中修改为IncomingUser jay jay1234567890 然后重启/etc/init.d/iscsi-target restart    问题即可解决！
