This printer basically doesn't work with linux and according to the local suppliers will NEVER work with linux. The best I could manage was to get the paper streaming thru ie non-stop, by calling it a different model - "new stylus". I tried 'foo2zjs' after 'gutenprint' which was the closest to this model. no luck. gave up after 2 weeks.
It works just fine. Use CUPS, Epson Stylus C46 Foomatic/gutenprint-ijs.5.0. Very good printing and cheap non-Epson refills.
