where there's no shortage of young entrepreneurs
Now at the age of 20, with another business behind her and the ink on her UC Berkeley computer science degree barely dry, Mah has launched her latest startup, inDinero. Inspired in part by Mah's early experiences as an entrepreneur, inDinero helps small business owners manage their finances."Most business owners spend all their time trying to run their business, but they seem to put little effort into their financial affairs," Mah said.
"A lot of my inspiration came from the problems I had as an eBay seller. I spent so much time putting products on eBay and dealing with customers, but I didn't know how much I was making on what I was selling."Even in Silicon Valley, where there's no shortage of young entrepreneurs, Mah stands out.
Originally from New York City, she finished high school at 15, attended an early college program called Simon's Rock, transferred to UC Berkeley and graduated in the spring.Just before graduation, she and inDinero co-founder Andy Su, a fellow 19-year-old computer science graduate, were accepted into Y Combinator, which offers funding and guidance for startups in their earliest stages.
