The TouchPad is a pointing
device used in notebooks by Acer, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, Olivetti, TI, Winbook,
and others.

Under Fedora7 and Ubuntu, if need to use “synclinet
TouchPadOff=0/
By default
both Fedora7 and Ubuntu close share memory (We need to access it!)
so add
these into /etc/X11/xorg.conf to touchpad related section to open share memory:
Option
SHMconfig “true”
After this
restart X server and we can use the command.
