I tried to use evolution connectting to exchange 2007, but failed.
At last, fortunately I found a working solution that is Davmail Gateway + thunderbird.

Thank you.

emerge evolution
emerge evolution-exchange

Then I found the 'Microsoft exchange' of Server type in Evolution couldn't support 'owa',so I google for other plugins except ‘evolution-exchange’.

evolution-exchange
is the
existing exchange interface for evolution, up to exchange 2003 I believe

goolge一下后发现有个叫‘ximian’的exchange插件,貌似是suse的产品,但是没有包含在gentoo的ebuild tree中。
继续google。
evolution-exchange插件支持exchange2003, 不支持2007.

since we just migrated to Exchange 2007 I can tell you, that Evolution will (i guess: for a long time) not be able to connect to Exchange 2007.

Evolution uses the Webfrontend to communicate. Since this is a complete rewrite for 2007, evolution is pretty useless.

She can only use the frontend or use Outlook in a Virtual environment or remote desktop.

I will try DavMail, its homepage is as below.

It really works well for Exchange 2007, haha.
But it only supports LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) address book, that means we could use offline address book of exchange server, not online one.

You'd better install the lightning extension of thunder bird to support calendar.

This lightning 0.9 extension is not compatible with thunderbird 3.0.4, both they are default versions on ebuild tree of gentoo 10.0 portage.

So I installed lightning 1.0 beta 1, and it works well now, its homepage is

As a comment, I paste my setting of calendar.
