The fruits are transformed into pomanders by piercing them with cloves and star anise. The cloves can be positioned in a free-form fashion, or you can create lines and swirls with them. If you want to add extra scent, a drop or two of essential oil is all you will need.
Look for fruits that are similar in size. This will help with balancing the design. You can always use a drop of hot glue or a toothpick to secure any out-of-balance fruits.
The centerpiece will last at least a week and will produce a beautiful fragrance and look for any room in your home.
