-a Add the user to the supplemental group(s). Use only with -G option.
-c change the comment field.
-d change the home directory.
-e set date on which the account will expire and will be disabled.
-g change the initial login group. The group name must exist.
-G A list of supplementary groups which the user is also a
member of Each group is separated from the next by a comma, with no intervening whitespace. The groups are subject to the same.
-l change the login name
-u change the login uid,This field must be unique.Unless use -o
option.Any files which the user owns and which are located in
the directory tree rooted at the user’s home directory will
have the file user ID changedautomatically.Files outside of the
user’s home directory must be altered manually.
-p change the string in the password field.This must be the
encrypted password.
-L lock the password.This renders the account unusable.
-U unlock the password.
-s change the login shell.
