Apple Inc. announced on June 22 that over a million of their new iPhone model has been sold in the first three days upon its official launch. This number has exceeded analysts’ expectation.
The new iPhone is named as iPhone 3GS, first come to the market of America and other seven countries on June 19. Compared with the previous model, the iPhone 3GS is twice faster, and features with new functions such as a camera and voice control.
The iPhone 3G launched last year also has made good sales performance
that more than one million phones being sold in the first three days
since it came to market, but it was then released in over 20 countries
and regions at the same time. Some analysts thus predicted that in the
first three days since the launch of an upgraded version perhaps only
500,000 can be sold.
