It takes me more than 2 hours to install the VMware tool, drives me mad, mad.
Finally I found out the reason why my virtual linux screen is so small about
1/4 width of the host' screen. Go to "VM"-->"Setting"-->"Hardware"-->"Display", and
select "Use host settings for monitor". After the setting, VMware screen return
to normal.
Of course, the pre-condition is that you have installed VMware tool on your
VMware. Many people include me are eagerly to search the VMware tool installation
package on the Internet, in fact, the VMware has the VMware tool install package.
For example, if you have installed VMware on: C:\Program Files\VMware
then, VMware tool is located in:C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Workstation\windows.iso.
So just mount the windows.iso to vmware linux as below:"VM"-->"Setting"-->"Hardware"-->
"CD Rom"-->"Connection", select "Use ISO image", set the ISO image path:
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Workstation\windows.iso.
Next step, run VMware linux, and click into CD Rom, you will find two installation
packages there, one is *.rpm format, the other is *.tar.gz.
