问题描述:

客户尝试将在AIX 5.3的系统上创建的datavg导入到AIX 5.1和AIX 5.2的系统上时，
遇到下面的报错信息:

#importvg -y datavg hdisk2

0516-002 lqueryvg: The volume group version is incompatible with this level
of the operating system and cannot be activated.

0516-002 lqueryvg: The volume group version is incompatible with this level
of the operating system and cannot be activated.

0516-1140 importvg: Unable to read the volume group descriptor area
on specified physical volume.

解决方法:

在AIX5.3系统上运行 #chvg -I datavg

修改卷组以便它可以导入到 AIX 5.1 和 AIX 5.2的系统上 。

然后再到 AIX 5.1 和 AIX 5.2的系统上运行 #importvg -y datavg hdisk2 即可 。
