MO多组织转换操作

一、 用secureCRT或者TELNET 10.210.99.33

二、 以oracle系统应用层用户登录，oradevp/密码

三、 首先，关闭应用,运行脚本sh stopAPP.sh，然后Ps –ef | grep FND，看并发进程是否关闭，等到并发进程关闭后（注意：数据库是打开状态的）

四、 执行环境变量 . /u01/devpappl/ APPSORA.env

五、 Adadmin

六、 按照提示回车，直至运行结束；
    在转换时，会要求选择LOG文件的名称，可以直接用adadmin.log

  1. Generate Applications Files menu

开始运行。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

运行多组织转换时可能报错，错误LOG在如下目录：
/ulic/oracle/demoappl/admin/TEST/log/adadmin.log（请检查系统目录）
$APPL_TOP/admin/TEST/log/adamin.log
可用more adadmin.log 打开查看错误原因。

七、运行完成后，以apps/apps登陆数据库

八、用下述SQL命令可查多组织是否转换过（在PLSQL中）
    SELECT multi_org_flag FROM fnd_product_groups
    该字段为Y 则表示已转换过。

九、 重启系统应用部份。sh startAPP.sh

十、 进入APPLICATION，设置组织，系统，进行测试。

十一、在组织定义完成后（每一个OU组织），用系统管理员用户名（sysadmin）运行后台请求：复制初始化数据。

Convert to Multi-Org

Appears as a menu choice only if Multi-Org is not installed in your database. Use it to convert a standard product group into a Multi-Org product group with one operating unit defined at the site level. The Convert to Multi-Org task does the following:

■ Asks for the number of parallel workers (and dynamically uses multiple workers on any Multi-Org partitioned table that has more than one million rows).

■ Disables all enabled triggers in the APPS schema.

■ Converts seed data and transaction data to Multi-Org in parallel.

■ Re-enables all previously disabled triggers in the APPS schema.

Converting to Multi-Org

Business Requirement

I want to convert my database to use multiple organizations.

Discussion

To convert a standard product group to a Multi-Org product group, you must create a

default operating unit that is defined at the site level and run AD Administration to

perform the conversion.

Action

Complete the following steps:

1. Define operating unit and set profile option.

Define at least one operating unit and set the site-level AOL profile option

MO:Operating Unit to use this unit. This setting tells AD Administration what

operating unit it should use when converting your existing data. This site-level

profile option must remain set at all times.

 

Caution: To avoid the possibility of data corruption, you must

shut down all concurrent managers and ensure all users are logged

off the system prior to and during this step.

 

2. Start AD Administration task.

Type adadmin at the command line. Then, from the main menu, choose the

Maintain Applications Database Entities menu.

3. Convert to Multi-Org.

Run the Convert to Multi-Org task to perform the conversion to Multiple

Organization architecture.

 

Note: The conversion may take a few minutes for a newly

implemented installation database, or much longer for an existing

production database with a large amount of data.

 

 

You must also define the default operating unit by setting the MO:

Operating Unit profile option at the site level. If this is a fresh

installation, the default operating unit can be any operating unit you

have defined. If this is an existing installation, you should assign as the

default operating unit the operating unit to which all existing data

should belong.
