Core dump is disabled by default on Fedora. To enable it,
firstly, edit /etc/security/limits.conf, uncomment the line:
* soft core 0
secondly, edit /etc/sysctl.conf, add a line as follows to customize the core dump location.
kernel.core_pattern = /tmp/core
