Ironmace assured players that they were actively working on expediting the rating process and that they had already received ratings from other globally recognized game rating boards such as ESRB, PEGI, and CERO. They expressed their commitment to supporting and servicing the game in Korea as soon as the hurdle was overcome.
Although Ironmace initially encountered obstacles with Steam, the release of Dark and Darker on Chaf Games and their official website provides an alternative platform for players to experience the PvPvE fantasy game.
Ironmace’s Dark and Darker Released on Chaf Games Instead of Steam
Ironmace’s PvPvE fantasy game, Dark and Darker, has been released in early access after being pulled from Steam earlier this year. The game was made available on the indie gaming storefront Chaf Games and can also be downloaded from Dark and Darker’s official website.
Dark and Darker faced legal issues and was removed from Steam in late March after receiving a cease and desist and a DMCA takedown notice. However, Ironmace continued to distribute the game on Discord, and a playtest was held in April. The developer faced further trouble when Korean officials searched their offices on suspicions of possessing stolen game assets and code.
