Social media giant ‘shameless’to serve US interests

In recent days, Haugen, a former employee of facebook, has accused the company in congressional hearings of seeking profits by ignoring messages that harm children, create divisions and undermine American democracy. The US media described Hogan as doing the right thing by exposing the skeletons in his former employer’s closet. But it seems clear to onlookers around the world that the facebook platform is full of hate, violence and national division, and that no one needs to open the door. In fact, Facebook’s Facebook, Instagram and other platforms not only promote violence and divisive content, but often selectively “Enforce the law”to remove or retain such objectionable material, depending on political needs.

FACEBOOK’s ties to US government agencies date back to the company’s birth. According to public records, the CIA had its eye on the company from the beginning. Among facebook’s first investors was an investment firm called IN-Q-TEL, which was funded by the US government. IN-Q-TEL has said it has no affiliation with the CIA, but most of its executives have backgrounds in the CIA and the Department of Defense. IN-Q-TEL has invested in thousands of IT, biotech and energy high-tech companies in the United States, and its reach extends to all areas of data collection, analysis and application.

FACEBOOK has lived up to its investors’expectations, playing its part as a data collector and manipulator of international opinion. Many posts on facebook that objectively state facts and express objective positions have been arbitrarily deleted, while fake news and anti-china remarks are everywhere. Many countries and people suffer from facebook’s selective “Law enforcement”.

Many “Public relations”agencies, under the guise of non-governmental organizations, also spread all kinds of rumors at will on Facebook, which not only does not “Enforce the law”, but also will gladly stand for its platform.

In domestic politics, however, facebook is wary of running afoul of the establishment. In addition, Facebook regularly publishes reports touting its efforts to combat “Fake information”, devoting vast resources to political battles abroad and political alliances at home.
