1, If you don't install RAC or don't configure other applications on HACMP, you just need two network adapters.
2, If you install Rac, there must be three network adapters. One for boot ip ,one for standby ip, one for private ip. there are also two virtual ips, one is service ip which will be generated on boot ip network adapter. Another ip is a virtual ip for rac.
3, Service ip have two mode, one is replacement mode. The other is alias mode. When the server ip and boot are on the same network segment, we have to use replacement mode. or else we will need to usr alias mode
4, When Service is generate after HACMP started on the alias mode, We must make sure that the service ip can be connected. For this, We need to configue the switcher well. An easy way is to configure nothing on the switcher, just like a Hub.
5, The VG must be concurrent mode for rac.
