Lineox Enterprise Linux 4.0 lineox在2月25日发布了Lineox Enterprise Linux 4.0，这是一份从Red hat Enterprise Linux 的源码包编译过来的产品。Lineox 只是更改了其中的一些图形文件，主要因为是商标的问题，其他的完全兼容。这份产品还包含了Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4发表后的其他28个升级包。 Lineox 希望在这周发布Lineox Enterprise Linux4.0 x86-64版本。 因为Fedora Core 3和Lineox Enterprise Linux4.0 beta2差不多是一个时候发布的，他们当中的1216个软件包都是一样的。所以Lineox希望使用Fedora Core 3和beta 2 版本的用户都升级到4.0版本的lineox Enterprise Linux。
Pie Box Enterprise Linux 4 AS已经发布：“PixExcel今天发布了Pie Box Enterprise Linux 产品的版本4，Pie Box Enterprise Linux 4 AS是从Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 AS的源码包编译出来的。唯一改变的就是'redhat-logos'、 'redhat-artwork'、'anaconda-product'和'firstboot'，这样是为了移除产品中的相关Red Hat商标和有关安装完成后RHW注册的问题。其他的包都没有什么改变，这样的好处就是和Red Hat Enterprise linux 4产品完全兼容。所以这个版本的 Pie Box Enterprise Linux 4 AS功能包括有Linux 2.6内核、SELinux、GNOME2.8、Samba 3.0Logical Volume Manager 2、PCI Express支持和NFSv.4。”唯一遗憾的是目前得到这个发行版的方法是从发行商的在线商店购买。”
