I happened to find that the segfaults of app are all logged in kernel ring buffer along with the name of the app! We can check by issuing 'dmesg' command later if we suspect that an app running in UI environment exited due to a segfault. Moreover, we can run a lot of programs in batch and then confirm with dmesg to see whether any segfaults catched. Excellent!
