Installing vePortal on a Clean OS

System Requirements
vePortal was developed using a CentOS 5.x Distribution, We highly reccomend using the same platform for the basis of your software. However we have confirmed reports of vePortal working smoothly in other Red Hat Clone enviroments (RHEL / Fedora etc).

Installing The Portal
The installation of vePortal is a very simple proccedure, And can be achieved by simply entering a few shell commands, Following the list below in order will install vePortal for you.

Commands:

# cd /
# setenforce 0
# wget 
# sh install.sh

During the installation you will be asked for your MySQL Root Password, if you have not set one already you may set one now.

On completion you will be able to login to your control panel at using the default login credentials displayed on the installation page (admin | admin).

Failure To Load Panel
In the rare occasion that your control panel does not load at the end of the installation you may need to reboot your server, This is due to the OpenVZ Installation and vePortal also modifies your systems running Kernel to adapt its needs.
