RuneFest, Jagex has come up with will give scapers a chance to show their ideas in person to . What content would you like to see in this game? Will you take a ticket for this communication? Before these, let’s see how it works.
How does RuneFest work?
Through RuneFest, Jagex wants to gain some suggestions or creations from players to RuneScape 2007. For the sake of RS07 improvement, the developers will select the ones that really stand out and sound like a good fit for Old School from all pitches.
Besides, the player that submitted the pitch will have a 20-minute slot to discuss his thoughts with the designers.
How to participate in it?
If you will attend RuneFest, you should submit a pitch to Jagex, including your username and the email address you used to purchase your RuneFest ticket. More importantly, you should send an email to oldschoolcommunity@jagex.com to state your ideas about OSRS.
This pitch must be submitted by the 31st September and, if your pitch is one of those selected, you will be allocated a time to talk to the Old School team about your pitch by 7th October .
Will all selected content be put into game directly?
Definitely no. according to the tradition in RuneScape, any ideas that are pitched and we like will still have to pass a poll to stand a chance at making it into the game. It doesn’t mean a deny of your suggestions. Once majority of players vote for it, it can be added in game. It should be an honor for a player.
What can I do without a ticket for RuneFest?
Certainly, if you don’t have a ticket for RuneFest, or a chance to give your excellent suggestions, you can hand over yours to the one that is going but doesn’t have a great idea to pitch. Besides, clubbing together to create an idea is also allowed by Mods.
