We are seeking an online marketing professional to join our marketing team. This Senior SEO Strategist will be responsible for optimizing our Web sites to make them more search-engine-friendly, thus elevating our positions in search results. This will help us improve the volume and quality of traffic to FindLaw.com from natural search referrals.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with another Senior SEO Strategist to manage day-to-day aspects of our SEO program:
- Keyword research and competitive benchmarking
- Develop and document detailed website recommendations
- Work with content and creative teams to execute recommendations
- Measure and report on business impact (ROI)
- Work cross-functionally to align SEO goals with Marketing, Product and Technology strategy
- Continue to refine SEO strategy for FindLaw.com
- Continuous analysis and optimization of SEO efforts and results - derive actionable insights and programs to increase rank, drive traffic, and ultimately customer acquisition and engagement
- Track, report, and analyze SEO performance on a weekly basis
- Contribute to website strategy by translating qualitative or anecdotal data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategy where appropriate
- Collaborate with our PPC Team to help create, optimize, measure and analyze our online marketing campaigns. You will assist other marketing managers and engineers to launch successful paid-search campaignsWe are the leading source of intelligent information for the world's businesses and professionals, providing customers with competitive advantage. Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of work experience in Search Engine Optimization
- 1+ years PPC/SEM optimization experience for Google, Yahoo or Bing accounts, a plus
- Expert level understanding of SEO, and proven ability to remain current in this rapidly shifting field.
- Thorough understanding of Social Media’s SEO features such as rel=author, and other Google+ SEO opportunities
- Experience implementing Social Media campaigns on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter, a huge plus
- Deep understanding web technologies
- Experience working with WordPress, Plug-ins, WordPress Themes, a plus
- Proven ability to deliver valuable business insights based on multiple data sources available in the organization and search traffic tools
- Experience working with, inspiring and influencing cross-functional teams
- Works well independently on assigned tasks, as well as team at large
- Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities with significant analytical, logical and strategic thinking skills.Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results against set objectives in a fast moving, dynamic environment
- Able to start optimizing the first day on the job without breaking a sweat
- Self-motivated and self-directed; however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people
- Someone who doesn't take him or herself too seriously
- Strong communication and team-oriented; comfortable interacting with senior managers and engineers
- Someone who loves talking about SEO, Social Media, CTR, ROI, Analytics, PPC (doesn't have to be in that order)
- Experience working with the legal industry
- Familiarity with Omniture SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics software a plus, but not necessary
- Experience working with of popular CMS such as Drupal or Adobe CQ5, a plus
