The designers of FIFA soccer 2011 tried to make the game as  realistic as possible and have added environmental factors such as rain and snow which now actually affect the ball and the game play rather than just being for show like before. Now the ball will skim across the soaked pitch if it’s raining if you pass it and will stop if it hits the floor dead. A new addition to the FIFA family of games is the handball rule. This rule certainly makes the game more interesting! Now free kicks and penalties are given all over the pitch due to this rule. While it has in some cases made the game fairer by giving them when the ball is handled, you have absolutely no control over the player handling the ball.

And also it seems that the players are more prone than ever to putting their hand in front of the ball. I think that FIFA soccer 2011 is the best video game of 2011 because of what an improvement it is upon the previous year’s edition. Although there are still some minor problems with it, I personally think it outclassed every other sports game and every other game that came out this year. I hope next years is even better.
