Pohang iron and Steel Corporation reached an agreement and signed a memorandum of understanding with Zimbabwe Anchor holding company. They would set up a joint venture company to develop and utilize the silicon resources in Zimbabwe. There are many resources in Zimbabwe, such as coal, chromium, iron, asbestos, stone, silver, silicon, lithium, niobium, lead, zinc, tin, uranium, copper, and nickel and so on. It is famous for its large quantity and good quality.
