Recently, we received several consults on which machines can be used to process metallic materials. Some of the stones are of high hardness so that they can only be crushed partially. Now, we will brief on the crushing of metallic materials.
Most of the cassiterites and sulphide ores are metallic materials. Apart from that, other metallic ores are sulphide ores, which are brisk and fragile. As for the cassiterite, it is still brisk and easy for argillization while it is quite hard. During the crushing, it may tend to smash. And most of the beneficial mineral ores are fragile. Among the mineral ores, gangues are usually silicates, which are tetrahedral, hard, and difficult to crush. And this can explain why these stones don't have the apparent optional breaking, for which we should pick up the most suitable equipment. The cone crusher has a crushing principle of 'the main crushing, supplemented by the grinding', which can not meet the requirement.
The metallic mineral ores have innumerous categories as well as a wide range of particle size, which results in more fragile surfaces and lower the actual strength of mineral ores. Based on the compressive resistance experiment, we found this kind of stones is fragile and brisk, having a number of fragile surfaces and apparent optional breaking phenomenon during crushing. As for these stones, we should choose the crushing equipments which have good optional breaking function, high crushing rate to split the materials as relatively big particle.
