The bundle will be sold on O2's Refresh tariff, which sees you paying separate tariffs for the hardware , and the airtime for the phone -- your minutes, texts and data.
According to O2, an example deal will see you shelling out ?52 per month, with an upfront cost of ?100. That would nab you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data.
That's ?10 more up-front than the PS4 bundle deal that O2 is offering , which gets you a copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall and the Sony Xperia Z1 smart phone.
Either bundle will see you paying much more in the long run than if you simply bought the console, game and phone separately, but if you happen to be into the phone, game and console and don't have cash to splash up front, this offer may be worth mulling over.
The Xbox One appears to be lagging behind its Sony-powered rival -- unofficial UK figures tip the PS4 as having sold 250,000 units in its first few days on sale , compared with 150,000 for the Xbox One. Sony recently boasted that it had sold a whopping 2.1 million PS4s worldwide.
