SALEM Nancy Ann Barry, age 30, of Salem, died Saturday, November 19, 2011 from injuries sustained when she was struck by a truck while attending the Yale/Harvard football game in New Haven. She was the loving daughter of Paula (St. Pierre) Barry of Salem and Kevin Barry of Lowell.

Born and raised in Salem, she attended Salem schools and was a graduate of Salem High Class of '99. She graduated 6th in her class and excelled in soccer, track and gymnastics. She received her BA from the Mass College of Art, graduating with honors in 2003. A talented designer, following her graduation, she freelanced in costume designing in the movie industry. Her first full time position was as a technical designer for Appleseeds. She left Appleseeds to work as a designer of women's sports apparel for New Balance. Her most recent venture was as a designer for Victoria's Secret for Bennett Company in Newburyport.

Nancy was totally devoted to her family and especially her nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her many devoted friends. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Daniella M. Broadbent and her husband Nathan of Peabody, her grandmother Nancy St. Pierre of Salem, 4 uncles, Paul St. Pierre and his wife Edwina of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, David Barry of Lynn, Rick Conway of Lynnfield, Jack Mogielnicki of Rowley as well as her nephews Travis and Colby Broadbent both of Peabody. She also leaves several cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Rene St. Pierre, her grandmother, Claire Barry, her greatgrandmother, Pauline Baldini, and aunts, Maureen Conway Joan Mogielnicki.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. (Rt. to be followed by her funeral mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church on the Salem/Peabody line (Rt. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Scholarship In Memory of Nancy A. Barry, c/o Mass. College of Art Foundation, 621 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115.

Beverly Mrs. Angela Smith, 78, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday. Born in Lindach, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Johanna Schosswendeter. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell F. Smith. Angela enjoyed knitting, sewing and crochet, but mostly enjoyed cooking and time spent with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Annemarie Griffen and her husband, Stephen, of Peabody; her son, Robert Smith of Beverly; her grandchildren, Alexander Russell Smith and Michael Mario Smith, and Wayne, Brian and Sean Griffen; a greatgrandson, Wesley Robert Griffen; her brothers and sisters in Austria, Karl Schosswendter, Ernst Stottinger, Wilhelm and Franz Pirerfellner, Walter Pirefellner, Johanna Mullner, Maria Beierhofer, Hildegard Oberholzner, Josephine and Anneliese Schosswendter; and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Russell, she was predeceased by her son, Arthur Smith.
