As long as the cake balls are Red Velvet, they should be a hit among locals. The most popular cupcake at each of the mentioned bakeries is red velvet. Cupcakes range in price from $2.25 to $3 apiece.
2 popes reach out to atheists in apparent campaign
VATICAN CITY Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI has emerged from his selfimposed silence inside the Vatican to publish a lengthy letter to one of Italy most wellknown atheists. In it, he defends his record on handling sexually abusive priests and discusses everything from evolution to theology to the figure of Jesus Christ.
Excerpts of the letter were published today by La Repubblica, the same newspaper which just two weeks ago published a similar letter from Pope Francis to its own atheist publisher.
The letters indicate the two men in white who live across the Vatican gardens from one another are pursuing a collaborative campaign of sorts to engage nonbelievers. It a melding of papacies past and present that has no precedent.

2 acts seeking compensation for 'Harlem Shake'
NEW YORK performers who say their songs have been used in Baauer's No. 1 hit "Harlem Shake" are seeking compensation because their vocals have been used without permission. The New York Times reports that songs from Hector Delgado and Jayson Musson are used in "Harlem Shake," which has become a viral hit thanks to YouTube videos of people dancing to the song. Delgado's "Maldades" and "Miller Time" by Musson's former rap group, Plastic Little, are said to be sampled in "Harlem Shake." The song is spending its third week on top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Delgado and Musson say they never gave Baauer, who was born Harry Bauer Rodrigues, permission to use their songs. Both Musson and Delgado are seeking compensation from Mad Decent Records, which put out the single and declined to comment.
