You can supplement this run by paying visits to 2 major bosses in Act II. First, teleport to our ghostly friend Zultan Kulle's lair at The Archives of Zultan Kulle, progress through the 3 areas, and kill the recently resurrected spirit. Then, head over to the base camp (default T teleport), enter the city, and kill that nasty little brat Belial.

I think a poor holdover from the current age of WoW raiding also impacted this where they balance around a player with gear X instead of balancing around a player with skill X and allowing for an easier time when they aquire gear on the level they fighting in..
