I can usually figure out why a pair of shoes goes on sale – they’re too prohibitively tall,, the color isn’t desirable, something about the design is wonky – but when it comes to the Rupert Sanderson Finality Cutout Pumps, I’m stumped. These shoes hit a number of important Spring 2011 trends, and get two sizes are available for 65% off retail.
The color is perfect; coral is huge for spring,, as are brights in general. The shape is what’s happening right now; a platform-lacking pointy toe is where directional design is headed. The shoes even feature cutouts and laces, both of which are big generalized footwear trends that have shown a lot of consumer interest. So what gives?
Normally I’d have an answer in this spot, but truthfully, I have nothing. Although if I were a 7.5 or a 9.5,, I’d have a pair of these shoes on their way to me right now. If your feet fit those parameters and you want a great pair of spring shoes at an even better price, then I think you know what you need to do.
