One girl, she is in my homeroom, was moaping, and I was such as, 'We're going to be fine, we'll be fine, I am just protecting you.A And then I said a few prayers. 'God please take care of my kids.A And we're great."
Recalling the tornado and its 200-m.p.h. winds, Crosswhite stated, "I don't remember exactly what it sounded like, honestly. It absolutely was like a freight prepare, but I don't remember much about it,'' the lady said about the sound of the tornado. "It felt like someone has been beating me upward from behind. The actual stuff was just coming down on my back. I believed I was fine, [but] I have cuts everywhere that we didn't even comprehend I had."
