Please help me, when I plugged an external defective HDD into my laptop I got BSOD, I know it was defective because before when I plugged it(HDD) into my laptop,, it can not read it but it can read other external HDD. But when I plugged it the other day I just got BSOD, the USB cable was connected to the laptop then I plugged the power cable into the external HDD, after plugging the power cable,, I got the BSOD. Is it because of the way I plugged it,? Because I think it should be the power cable into the HDD first before the USB cable into the Laptop..
