Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza wont
start again until after Tuesdays trade deadline due to triceps cramping.
Cubs manager Dale Sveum said before Fridays game against St. Louis that
Garzas MRI exam showed slight fluid buildup in the triceps area.
There has been much trade speculation surrounding Garza, who left last
Saturdays game against the Cardinals after pitching three innings. He is
5-7 with a 3.91 ERA in 18 starts this year.

Calgary Flames have assigned veteran left wing Niklas Hagman to their
American Hockey League affiliate in Abbotsford.
Hagman went unclaimed after being placed on waivers Thursday to make
room on the 23-man active roster for Mikael Backlund, who missed the
clubs first 14 games with a broken finger.
In eight games for the Flamess this season, Hagman has notched a goal
and three assists.dddddddddddd The 31-year-old Finn had 11 goals and 16
assists in 71 games last season for Calgary.
Hagman has played in 106 games for the Flames since being acquired in a
January 31, 2010 trade with Toronto. He has 139 goals and 282 points in
