今日头条：Google Chrome

Google突然说要做浏览器了，给竞争激烈的浏览器市场又点上了一把大火。

今天从Google Systems的blog上看到了一篇google的申明：

Google OS Is Actually a Browser: Google Chrome

原来google一直倡导的Web OS 就是这个浏览器：Google Chrome

那么从该文的介绍中，可以看到，Chrome具备以下这些东东：

1. Webkit内核
这个是Safari使用的渲染引擎，开源的，google直接拿过来用了。

2. 每个tab页独立进程
Google的意思是为了更稳定，tab页互相之间就没什么关联了，形成了一种sandbox模式


3. 使用V8的javascript虚拟机
这个虚拟机将大大加速js的速度，应该还有更多的改进。

4. 大量API（包括gears）和其他UI上的改进


Some people will say that Google wants to compete with Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Mozilla's Firefox, but I think there's something more important about the new offering: an open source browser that is prepared for running applications and that diminishes the role of existing operating systems. The browser won't become very popular, but the ideas behind it will influence the next versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari.


实际上google还是在打造平台的概念，从他做的东西就可以看出来：Google Desktop --- 桌面应用的尝试，在线OFFICE、picsaca等---- 在线软件，云计算 --- 在线存储等

那么Google Chrome，则将成为一个整合各种资源的平台，如果能在带给用户良好体验的同时保证稳定和兼容性，应该还是有发展前景的。


对这么一个产品，我们不能寄予厚望，因为可能会失望，也不要完全否定，毕竟多了一个好玩的东西，不是吗？

我很期待里面的javascript虚拟机和大量的API。估计很多人都在磨刀了，大量的跨域测试、js测试、dos测试、fuzz在等着他了。
