Steel invest in ore mining machinery production

Steel has recently completed a significant investment in upgrading one of the coilers on the Hot Strip Mill at its IJmuiden plant in the Netherlands.
The investment paves the way for the development of heavier-gauge strip for use in the manufacture of articulated trucks, and of higher-strength steel grades for use in cranes and machine boom arm applications. The products will help customers reduce the weight of finished fabrications whilst maintaining strength and integrity.
The Belt conveyors consist of standard parts, which are advanced and simple in structure, easy to maintain. They are widely used in mining, metallurgical and coal industry to transfer sandy or lump material, or packaged material. According to different transferring equipment, the transfer system can be one independently or multi-conveyors or combined with other transfer equipments. The Belt conveyor can be installed horizontally or aslope to meet the needs of different transfer lines.

HX Series Vertical mill is from the main structure of separators, roller devices, disc devices, pressure devices, reducer, motor, shell and other components. Vertical mill pressure device is to provide the pressure roller milling parts, which consists of high-pressure filling stations, hydraulic cylinder rod, accumulator etc, able to exert enough pressure roller to crush material. Reducer is the main power transmission components, disc rotation speed is the speed reducer output shaft.
A number of new steel grades are in development and are being trialled through the upgraded coiler, including Ympress  S700 and Ympress  S960. HX series vertical roller can fully meet the requirement of clients in the high production of powder, and its main technical and economy indicator reaches the international level. It is mainly suitable to crush the medium hard materials with the crushing pressure of less than 170MPa, and surface moisture of less than 8%. The system works under negative pressure, so there is no dust going out. It meets the requirements of the state Environmental Protection.
The upgraded coiler can supply high-strength steels up to 20mm: core applications for the new steel grades will be those requiring high strength combined with reduced weight, including cranes and construction equipment.
