Boric acid (H3BO3) is the production of boron chemicals mother. The system of
law varies with the variety of raw materials. The main production methods of
boric acid sulfuric acid, boric acid sulfuric acid method, ammonium bicarbonate
method, and more sodium borate method.
(1) Preparation of industrial sulfuric

(3) Preparation of
ammonium bicarbonate, boric acid industry. Bicarbonate method of process is: the
calcined borax powder, boric acid ammonium bicarbonate solution and separation
of the mother liquor, stir in the ingredients, after mixing tank, leaching into
kettle leaching, filtration, washing, discard the residue. Concentrated ammonia
solution sent in dilute solution as the next feeding dilution. Concentrated
ammonia solution in the decomposition of ammonium dihydrogen borate, boric acid
solution into a dilute solution, concentrated into the crystal by the steam tank
cooling and crystallization, separation, drying boric acid has been
finished.
(4) Multi-sodium borate, boric acid Preparation of the industrial
process are: boron and magnesium ores by roasting crushed into a certain
fineness of the powder, add soda and liquid-solid ratio was appropriate slurry,
which leads to different concentrations of CO2 gas in the a certain temperature,
pressure, carbon solution reaction, the reaction of the slurry through the
filtered residue.
Will get more sodium borate solution, add concentrated
sulfuric acid in the steam and the cooling crystallization, separation, drying
will be boric acid. Concentrated mother liquor re-steaming, hot extraction and
separation of by-product sodium sulfate, and then return to the recycling
process.
