wifi之hotspot和ap

某时看某需求时候，有一个关于hotspot的需求，思来想去，这hotspot和ap到底有啥个不同呢

在google中找到了这样一个讨论，也是针对于hotspot和ap的区别展开的。
大概的就是： 一个顽固又略带偏执的印度人在cisco的论坛上发起了一个关于hotspot和ap有啥区别的讨论，引起了多位cisco的support人员对于该问题一致的回答： 没有区别

大体上可以理解为：
 1. hotspot是一个更简单或者更单纯的ap，只是提供一个无线网络的接入功能
 2. ap可以设计或者实现为一个相对比较复杂，附带其他一个无线管理或者控制的一个无线解决方式

What do you drive a Mercedes, Audi BMW, no its a car. A hotspot is an access point but an access point may not necessarily be a hotspot it could be a rogue detector, a sniffer a monitor etc. These are feature sets available that let the access point be different things.
