windows 2003在Dell服务器安装时的amdide.sys文件问题

在Dell 2650服务器（其它一些型号也有这个问题）安装windows 2003(SP1)时，无论是用Dell的购机时附带的安装光盘来安装还是使用windows 2003光盘直接安装，总是出现一提示说amdide.sys文件无法找到，刚开始怀疑是光盘问题，但更换了一个光盘后，同样出现此问题，经查证，发现不是光盘问题，安装时的一个BUG。

解决办法共找到下面几个：

方法一 （不大了解这个*.bt~）

extracted and copied the AMDIDE.SYS to the "*.bt~" folder on the boot disk. Before I installed the system with the same CD but without the DELL CD. This worked as well.

方法二 （尝试后无效）

going into the BIOS and changing the setting under CPU details from Enabled to Disabled on Sequential Memory Access.

方法三 （嫌使用软盘麻烦，没有试）

1、download the SCSI driver from dell website: http://supportapj.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?c=cn&l=zh&s=bsd&SystemID=PWE_PNT_XEO_1750&os=WNET&osl=CS&deviceid=2608&typecnt=3&releaseid=R99970&vercnt=9

2、according the readme file, perc-cerc-w2k3-6.46.2.32-A05.txt, install windows by windows CD

(note: not using "assistant management" CD to boot, directly using windows CD)

3、using "assistant management" CD to install network card driver.

方法四 （下载新的2650的安装引导盘，成功解决）
