Problem(Abstract)
This technote provides a solution if user gets GLPCFG035E from idsxcfg tool while optimizing database.
Symptom
idsxcfg -> optimize database reports below error :
GLPCFG035E there is currently no database available.


Resolving the problem
To resolve this problem user needs to either export user profile or set DB2INSTANCE variable to the appropriate db2 instance defined in the ibmslapd.conf file.
Solution 1 :
# . /home/tdsm/.profile 
# idsxcfg -I tdsm(tds实例) 


Solution 2 : 
# export DB2INSTANCE=tdsm
# idsxcfg -I tdsm(tds实例)
