Polk announced the Blackstone TL series this week, a new line of home theater speaker systems, promising to deliver high-quality audio for your home theater setup in a small package.
The star of Polk’s Blackstone TL line is, without a doubt, the Blackstone TL3 series, which promises to deliver top-of-the-line audio quality with its four medium-sized TL3 satellites and center-channel speaker. The TL3 speakers come with Time Lens technology, a 3.25-inch mid-bass driver, a 3.25-inch Aerated Polypropylene Cone (APP), and a .75-inch ring radiator tweeter, similar to Polk’s LSi and LCi series. Each speaker features Polk’s PowerPort technology to cut out the port noise and improve the bass quality. The price for this high-end gear is $749.95.

We know that the Blackstone TL3 models are the the stars of the line-up, but Polk also has two budget-friendly alternatives ? the Blackstone TL1 and TL2 Series.
The TL259 surround sound system, as part of the TL2 series, comes with the company’s PowerPort technology, .75-inch silk dome tweeters and 3.25-inch composite injection molded cones with Dynamic Balance Driver Technology.
The TL1 Series on the other hand, comes with .5-inch silk dome tweeters, 2.5-inch long-throw drivers, and tuned satellite and center-channel rear ports. The five-piece TL150 speaker series has an SRP of $399.95, with the powered subwoofer costing an additional $100.
